About the Role

As a junior Backend Engineer on our dynamic team, you'll collaborate closely with product management and operations. Your role is pivotal in researching and diagnosing a variety of software and data issues. You'll be hands-on in triaging and crafting innovative solutions alongside our development team.

What You'll Do 

• Collaborate with the team to research and diagnose software and data issues
• Triage and design innovative solutions alongside the development team
• Develop new features and troubleshoot bugs in Spring Boot applications to enhance user experience
• Promote collaboration, transparency, creativity, inclusion, and data-driven decision-making within the team

What You'll Bring 

• Java Expertise: 1+ year of experience, with proficiency in tackling meaningful projects and challenges
• SQL Skills: 1+ year of experience, with a knack for crafting complex queries and conducting data analysis
• Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of the Spring Framework and REST API development

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with AWS
• Familiarity with Java testing frameworks (JUnit, Spock)
• Competency in Data Analysis
• Agile Development methodologies
• Bachelor's Degree

Sidecar Health adopts a market-based approach to compensation, where base pay varies depending on location and is further influenced by job-related skills and experience. The current expected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000.
