Software Engineer, Billing

Dandy is hiring a Software Engineer to join our rapidly scaling technology organization. This position will be responsible for building industry-defining products and a robust pipeline that manages Dandy’s revenue streams on a hyper-growth path.

We are seeking a self-starting, detail-oriented engineer who enjoys working with numbers and code. You will sit at the core of Dandy’s business and collaborate cross-functionally with other brilliant engineers and ambitious business partners at Dandy.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop the full stack of Dandy’s pricing, billing and payments systems

• Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to meet the high bar for quality and user experience in a rapidly iterative environment.

• Partner with the business teams such as Go-to-Market, Accounting, Business Operations to shape Dandy’s pricing and packaging strategies for market expansion and other monetization opportunities

• Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability and best practices. Advocate for improvements to product quality, security and performance through collaboration and code reviews.

• Deliver product features in a large code base with both grace and speed

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a high growth environment

• Solid foundations in software engineering, programming languages and distributed systems

• Attention to details and a collaborative, pragmatic mindset

• Good communication skills to articulate technical solutions and business requirements

Bonus Points

• Experience with billing and payment platforms (ex: Stripe, Plaid, Dave)

• Experience with Typescript and its ecosystem

• Basic understanding of PostgreSQL, GraphQL and/or event-based architectures

Compensation Range: $145K - $162.5K
