Software Engineer, Embedded Systems, Silicon

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in Linux or Android device driver development or debugging.
• Experience with software development in C or C++.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in embedded systems design, development, and debugging.
• Experience with emulation platforms, Field Programmable Gate Array or silicon bring up.
• Experience with Embedded Linux, Little Kernel, or Android platform development.
• Experience with designing and developing device drivers.

Responsibilities

• Develop Linux kernel multi-media drivers and related system runtimes for multimedia hardware.
• Design and implement the multi-media validation software for Google Tensor.
• Create and integrate software on emulation, Field Programmable Gate Array, and silicon environments.
• Develop, maintain, and integrate software test infrastructure, unit tests, and integration tests.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to support the development and execution of the validation plans.
