Job Title: Software Engineer, EMR Integration
Location: 30 W. Monroe Street, Suite 1200, Chicago, IL 60603
Job Duties : Lead .NET based application development functions from requirements definition all the way through final software solution delivery business units. Manage full software life cycle development. Work with senior departmental leaders in defining needs and developing technology driven solutions. Work with program managers, project owners, business analysis team, and end users to understand business requirements and translate into program requirements. Integrate with the previous version of management system to provide service on both environment. Work in team of 10+ developers/BAs by agile structure to manage each sprint. Work on multiple simultaneous projects while managing work time to deliver all releases on time. Design and implement applications using C# and ASP.NET MVC 5.0. Implement front-end with Razor View Engine, JQuery, AJAX, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3. Create back-end by using MVC Framework and ADO.NET . Design User Interface with Razor Views, Partial View, and Layout. Implement variable of controls by using JavaScript and Kendo UI/Kendo UI MVC. Integrate with internal/external web APIs from previous application and third party. Manipulate XML and JSON on server side/client side. Design database, create tables, and write stored procedure, user defined function, and dynamic SQL. Implement unit testing to detect and solve errors on different server such as Dev/UAT/PROD.
Contribute in all aspects of SDLC process (SCRUM, Design, Code, Test, Deploy & Maintain). Design and build highly available, scalable and responsive services/API's using .NET framework. Design and implement integrations with inhouse and third party services. Collaborate with Product, UX and other Engineering teams. Collaborate with Platform team following Architecture best practices for scalability and reliability. Contribute to code review process to improve code quality. Mentor Engineers. Implement SecDevops best practices.
Requirements: The position of Software Engineer, EMR Integration requires a Bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and three (3) years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience building enterprise-grade web applications using .NET MVC, WebAPI and KendoUI frameworks.
Specific Skills or Other Requirements: Additionally, the applicant must have: 1). Experience with Jquery, Ajax, CSS, HTML and MVC razor views; 2). Experience with working in a distributed, cloud-based environment either in Azure or AWS; 3). Experience with unit & automated testing frameworks; 4). Experience with ADO.NET , Entity Framework & SQL stored procedure performance tuning; 5). Experience working in an Agile/Devops environment using Octopus.
