About the role:

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of front and back-end software applications. Your responsibilities will extend from designing system architecture to high-level programming, performance testing, and system integration.

To ensure success as a software engineer, you should have advanced programming skills, experience with application development, and excellent troubleshooting skills. Top-rated software engineers create and implement advanced software systems that perfectly meet the needs of the company.

What you will do:

• Report to your Engineering Manager and discuss process updates, identify bottlenecks and improve software efficiency.
• Meet with the software development team to define the scope and scale of software projects.
• Develop and maintain internal software tools.
• Design software system architecture and implementing scalable web services, applications, and APIs.
• Complete data structures and design patterns.
• Write low-level and high-level code.
• Troubleshoot and bug fix.
• Collaborate with the design team on developing micro-services
• Write technical documents

About you:

• You have 5+ years of experience in full stack development.
• You have advanced experience with application development and architecture and are an accomplished programmer.
• You want to work with your colleagues to improve on your proposals and implementation details.
• You have experience collaborating with product and design contributors to achieve a common goal.
• You have spent time developing, automating, maintaining, and reviewing frontend and backend code.
• You have xperience with Next.js and the Vercel platform.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $175,000.00 - $245,000.00. This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your location during the hiring process.
