SOFTWARE ENGINEER(Industrial Automation & Cloud Systems) Location: Houston, TX Hybrid About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with proven experience working with Siemens and Schneider Electric systems, as well as a strong background in designing and deploying cloud-based data systems. This role bridges industrial automation and modern cloud technologies, playing a key part in building scalable, secure, and data-driven solutions for industrial environments. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain software systems that interface with Siemens PLCs, SCADA, and Schneider Electric automation platforms. • Build and deploy cloud-based data systems (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for collecting, storing, and analyzing data from industrial equipment. • Develop secure and reliable IoT data pipelines, integrating edge devices with cloud services. • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting cloud-infrastructure and data flows. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including control systems engineers, cloud architects, and data analysts. • Ensure compliance with industry standards, including security, data governance, and high availability. • Support deployment and troubleshooting in live production environments. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. • Bilingual in English and Chinese. • 1+ years of hands-on experience working with Siemens (e.g., TIA portal, WinCC, S7 PLCs) and/or Schneider Electric (e.g., EcoStruxure, Modicon PLCs) platforms. • Strong programming skills in Python, C#, or Java. • Experience designing and deploying cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, GCP Pub/Sub). • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT). • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines. Preferred Skills: • Experience with data lake architecture, time-series databases, and streaming data frameworks (e.g., Kafka, InfluxDB). • Understanding of Industry 4.0 principles and digital twin technologies. • Certifications from AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices in industrial and cloud environments. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year Work Location: Hybrid remote in Houston, TX 77001
