Software Engineer II

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team and help us achieve our goals for our business and the planet.

We are searching for a Software Engineer who is passionate about changing the way millions of people save energy. You'll work within the Engineering Department to build and improve our applications to deliver flexible and creative solutions to our utility partners and end users. You'll be a part of developing robust architecture and leading large feature initiatives that deliver a compelling experience for our customers.

What you bring to Uplight:

• 2-3 years of professional software engineering experience

• 2+ years experience with Python

• 1+ years building maintainable integration and unit tests
• 1+ years building and documenting scalable backend solutions
• Ability to collaborate via pair programming, peer review, brainstorming, etc.

• Experience facilitating collaboration cross-functionally with Design and Product teams

Salary Range: $100,000 to $130,000
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be evaluated based on a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity.
