Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience. Requires skills and experience to involve: Deep knowledge of backend application development using Java and Golang. Deep knowledge of backend application deployment using Docker and Kubernetes. Deep knowledge of microservices architecture design patterns. Deep knowledge of payments routing design patterns. Deep knowledge of backend application design using RabbitMQ, Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT), and Postgres SQL. Deep knowledge of backend application support using RabbitMQ, Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT), Postgres SQL, Grafana, Splunk, and Datadog. Job duties:The Software Engineer II position will analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering and mathematical analysis for the full software development lifecycle for coded solutions, including end-to-end support for development, estimation, planning, and design. Update and enhance existing software capabilities for point of sale, fuel, and payments applications. Contribute to overall system design, architecture, security, scalability, reliability, and performance of coded applications. Consult with other departments on technical issues, including diagnosing and solving production support issues for the build and deployment pipeline. Prepare correspondence and train users concerning project specifications including technology stacks and standards. Engage/ collaborate with external technical teams and vendors to ensure timely, high-quality solutions.
