The ideal candidate will possess a subset of the following skills, with a willingness to learn and grow in other areas. This role involves collaborating with team members to develop new features, improve standard features, and maintain high-quality software solutions, ensuring comprehensive testing, and providing the necessary support and documentation. This is a hybrid position and will require up to 3 days a week on a Government site. Key Responsibilities: • Contribute to the development and maintenance of software applications • Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues • Contribute to continuous improvement of development and deployment processes • Create and manage tickets in Jira • Document processes and projects in Confluence Requirements: • US Citizen • Active Secret Clearance required • BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field • 5+ years of related professional experience • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization • Familiarity with unit testing and automated testing frameworks • Experience with Agile development methodologies • Familiarity and experience with CI/CD pipelines • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Desired Skills and Experience: • Proficiency in front-end development with React, NextJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript • Experience with PostgreSQL • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) • Proficiency in ticket creation and management using Jira • Ability to create and maintain documentation in Confluence • Willingness to learn or have existing proficiency in Java, including JPA, Spring, and Hibernate • Familiarity with Git, ORMs, RESTful APIs, JDBC, Junit Security Clearance Requirement:An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
