Software Engineer in Tests

Cornerstone OnDemand is seeking a QA Engineer to join our Learning team responsible for maintenance and development of 3 products. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for meeting & exceeding software quality expectations. The role requires analytical skills and a quick response to changes. The position itself will allow you to expand your testing skills, including manual testing as well as building automated test suites. You will also gain unique experience working in international company in multicultural environment.

In this role you will...

• Design and execute test cases (manual and automation)
• Automate feature/regression test cases for web applications, API using Rest Assured and web with Selenium
• Estimate the scope and size of the testing effort for a development application
• Be involved in the design of the software by working closely with developers to assess and advise on testability aspects
• Configure and manage test environment and test data
• Report defects and work with the team to resolve them

• Experience in the design and execution of automated and manual tests of software products
• Experience of testing web-based & microservice-based products
• Programming skills (preferably Java, JavaScript or similar)
• Good knowledge of Selenium framework
• Knowledge how to test API
• Knowledge of SQL
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Working fluency in English
• 2 years of professional software testing experience
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet commitments.

• Testing tools: Postman, RestAssured
• Tech stack: Gradle, MySQL, AWS, microservices
