Software Engineer-Java, Springboot

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cloud-hosted applications leveraging latest tech stacks
• Utilize AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Actively develop threat prevention mechanisms and drive security best practices
• Continuously work to remediate critical vulnerabilities
• Hold self and team accountable for producing high-quality code
• Develop code meaningfully for shared components across products and capabilities
• Continuously learn and look for opportunities to innovate
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in application development
• Proven experience with the latest tech stacks
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.
• Experience with RDBMS technologies such as Postgres/Oracle/SQL server
• Deep experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Maven
• Experience with Source Code Control systems like Git and CI/CD systems
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Cloud platforms like AZURE
• Solid knowledge and application of security best practices in a cloud environment
• Proven excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Experience using productivity tools and AI tools as part of their core job function
• Experience with AI/ML Data Science Model Development
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment, with tangible examples of continuous learning and innovation
• Experience developing code for shared components across various products and capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to remediate critical vulnerabilities effectively and efficiently
  Solid team player with a mindset for re-use and meaningful contribution to shared components
