Our client Smoobu (www.smoobu.com) is a fast-growing startup in the vacation rental industry. Smoobu’s all-in-one SaaS solution for private hosts currently manages over 70,000 properties across more than 120 countries. Smoobu’s priority is to help its hosts efficiently manage and grow their business.

We are searching for new colleagues who are looking to take on the exciting challenge of transforming the vacation rental industry and taking it to the next level.

In this role, you will

• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine features and plan milestones
• Decompose the monolith, building and perfecting a variety of APIs to enable seamless integration with external partners as well as inter-service communication 
• Migrate the application environment from the private cloud to the AWS platform
• Help select metrics for feature monitoring and risk management
• Apply engineering best practices to the current team environment 
• Contribute to resolving technical design challenges

What will you bring

• Solid relevant experience in Backend engineering
• Demonstrated proficiency in our technical stack, including recent PHP & Symfony versions, and relational databases such as MySQL
• Practical knowledge of decomposing monolithic architectures, clean coding practices, Test-Driven Development, SOLID principles and Docker
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a distributed team
• Fluency in English




We consider the following experience as an advantage

• Familiarity with layered architecture and CQRS patterns
• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design principles

Salary range:

9 250 - 17 170 PLN gross (Permanent)
