Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Software/Network Engineer at PipeSense located in Greater Houston. As a Software/Network engineer, you will be responsible for maintenance and enhancements of existing code, development of new code and configuration of edge devices and cloud environments including network setup and deployment. You will work closely with the data science, engineering and operations teams to contribute to the development and improvement of our test monitoring and leak detection systems.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in Python
• Laravel/PHP knowledge
• LabVIEW/NI is a plus
• Grafana is a plus
• Linux Scripting
• React Native
• Django web development is a plus
• Machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow
• Containerization technology such as Docker
• Knowledge about RESTful APIs,
• Knowledge in OPC UA protocol, MQTT is a plus
• Python Fast API is a plus
• Knowledge of Computer Networking including VPN setup and configuration
• Matlab experience is a plus
• InfluxDB and AWS (EC2, ECS, S3, etc) is a plus
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling
• Strong statistical knowledge and expertise
• Proficiency in data visualization techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
