Position Summary:

TTC is growing, and we are currently seeking a Test Manager to play a key role in our organization. The Test Manager should have several years of experience in testing, a strong understanding of the QA process, and prior exposure to testing in the context of PeopleSoft applications. In this role, the Test Manager will lead and deliver testing services, utilizing industry standards and best practices to meet customer requirements. The Test Manager will work collaboratively to establish and improve the overall QA process. Responsibilities include mentoring team members, overseeing test execution, automation, and risk coverage analysis, and ensuring the quality of deliverables. The Test Manager may also assist in supporting production applications and systems.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the TTC leadership team to ensure successful testing within the organization.
  • Lead and deliver as required on critical engagements within the PeopleSoft testing practice.
  • Assess and develop a deep understanding of customer's manual and automated testing needs within the PeopleSoft environment.
  • Maintain a hands-on involvement in test execution, test automation, and risk coverage analysis.
  • Review functional and non-functional requirements and specifications for PeopleSoft applications.
  • Produce test artifacts, including test strategy, test plan, test cases, and test metrics reports.
  • Build and support automated testing frameworks tailored for PeopleSoft applications.
  • Ensure high-quality work internally and at customer sites while meeting project deadlines.
  • Cultivate excellent relationships with key stakeholders and manage their expectations effectively.
  • Actively participate in project team meetings, offering insights on application issues and presenting solutions to meet requirements and ensure desired quality.
  • Produce test Artifacts such as test Strategy, test Plan, test Cases and test Metrics reports
  • Build and support automated testing frameworks based on various technologies
  • Deliver good quality work internally and at a customer site and meeting project deadlines
  • Maintain excellent relationships with key customer stakeholders and managing their expectations
  • Actively participate in project team meetings to offer insight on application issues discovered and present solutions to resolve, meet requirements and ensure desired quality
  • Ability to travel moderately
  • Additional duties as may be assigned by management 

Role Requirements: 

  • Strong experience in PeopleSoft testing or relevant experience, including a focus on testing Oracle PeopleSoft.
  • Solid understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in Payroll Testing.
  • Ability to drive operational efficiency in a highly regulated environment.
  • Proficiency in maintaining QA documentation and tracking delivery changes for auditing purposes.
  • Capable of executing and completing assigned projects within negotiated time, scope, and budget.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities from both a business and systems perspective.
  • Highly self-motivated and a capable leader.
  • Effective prioritization and task execution in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to facilitate open discussions and constructive debates.
  • Experience working in both Agile and traditional development environments, ideally within Government organizations.

Technical Skills: 

  • Experience in overseeing Test Automation with one or more test automation tools and frameworks: Selenium, UFT, TOSCA, Rational Robot, etc. 
  • Understanding of database concepts and good knowledge of SQL 
  • Familiarity with API testing (SOAP and/or REST) 
  • Experience in business requirements analysis and test case design using Test Case management tools: ALM, TFS, JIRA plug-ins, etc. 
  • Ability to document defects and track them to resolution using defect management tools: JIRA, Quality Center, TFS, etc. 

 Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Engineering, or related field preferred 
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Software Development and/or Quality Assurance
