Join an award-winning enthusiastic team looking to make a difference in the lives of today's military! CACI has an immediate need for a Software Tester in the North Charleston, SC location to be part of an Agile Development Scrum team. The Tester will be responsible for the design and execution of test cases as well as participation in User Acceptance Testing exercises in support of requirements for a complex web application. The project is within the Defense Health Readiness Engineering (DHRE) portfolio.

What You'll Get to Do:

• Responsible for test planning, developing test cases/test scripts, test execution, error reporting, analysis, and error verification
• Providing test reports and documenting problems found, steps to reproduce in the issue tracking tool
• Engage with business owners and requirements team to understand specific software functional requirements for purpose of developing test procedures and test cases
• Adhere to established testing standards and best practices as appropriate for the assignments given
• Experience with industry-accepted test tools, preference to cloud-based tools
• Knowledge of software applications, operating systems, frameworks, integrated data environments or other technical domains

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) to seven (7) years of work experience in Software Development Lifecycle process focusing on test engineering, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET level clearance
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date
• 1-3 years of experience in conducting system tests in accordance with specific written test scripts
• Must have experience in documenting results and failures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Experience working on a Department of Defense (DoD) program/project
• Experience in automated and performance testing
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• QA/Tester industry certifications
• Experience using JIRA and the Atlassian Tool Suite
