Solar Roofer

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced 1099 Solar installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, construction, roofing , and renovation projects. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints, using power and hand tools, and adhering to the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Electrical Contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various electrical tasks. • Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with NEC standards. • Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters. • Collaborate with other contractors on construction sites to coordinate work schedules and tasks. • Renovate existing electrical systems as required by project specifications. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Requirements • Proven experience as an Electrical Contractor or similar role in the construction industry. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and NEC regulations. • Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications. • Experience with logic controllers and their applications in electrical systems is a plus. • Ability to work effectively with power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively. • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing for long periods, lifting heavy materials, and working in various weather conditions.
