Your Role and Responsibilities
Ecosystem Engineering Technology Engineer is responsible to help guide and support partners in embedding sell-to resell and influence scenarios with IBM’s strategic technologies. Activities include deal support with partners selling to clients (i.e. PoX RFX) and co-creating with partners (Joint Solutions Assets embedding of IBM technology).

• Technology Evangelist enabling and supporting existing and future strategic ecosystem partners around IBM portfolio.
• Technical Specialist Trusted advisor with a combination of technical development and communication skills facing IBM Ecosystem business partners.
• Pre-sales support RFx response Joint value creation & GTM (go-to-market) motion with Ecosystem Service/Business partners.
• Delivering in person and virtual technical enablement sessions trainings to IBM worldwide partner’s pre-sales delivery practice technical architects.
• Conducting technical workshops webinars joint solution design sessions supporting Service motions.
• Hands-on support for technical PoX (PoC/PoT/PoV) & Demo Presenting IBM technology solutions PoV (Proof-of-value) to partners and clients.
• Maintain and expand technical enablement materials assets and web content to support new and existing ecosystem partners.
• On ground technical support to drive Ecosystem business goals: Growth Expanding partners footprint Partner enablement and joint business value proposition.
• Delivering a unique co-creation experience for partners to accelerate and scale the embedding and use of IBM’s strategic technologies to/in partner services/ solutions.
• Use innovative ways to identify and progress opportunities to demonstrate client value – i.e. Design Thinking meetups white boarding prototyping hands-on demos.
• Translate client business requirements into solution requirements solution architecture and solution design.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years engineering and/or technology experience (e.g. technology field Services Consultant Specialist Team Technical Sales system integrators developer pre-sales).
• 3 -5 years Good hands-on experience working with either or combination of Network/Telecom OSS/BSS technology e.g. Network Performance Management (NPM) Network Orchestration (NFVO/MANO) Network Management (EMS/NMS) Network Operations (AIOPs) and/or Automation solutions like Service Assurance Multi-cloud management Enterprise DNS and Traffic-steering.
• 2-5 year experience of pre-sales support RFX response requirements analysis technical compliance solution proposal & defense of above technology based solutions.
• 5+ years hands-on experience working with either or combination of Network Hybrid cloud infrastructure platforms e.g. Kubernetes Openstack Redhat OpenShift (RHOCP) CNCF standard cloud platforms IBM cloud and Hyper-scalers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 2-5 years Architectural experience working with microservices and distributed applications such as Doker/Containers/VM Kubernetes and/or serverless technology.
• 2–5-year Experience with network automation and building/deploying network automation solutions with a focus on RestAPI Ansible JSON Jenkins DevOps & GitOps methodology.
• 2-5 year of experience with Network Automation scripting skills e.g. Ansible python Go Language json yaml Terraform.
• Good understanding and experience of hybrid cloud networking concepts like VNet and VPC VPN gateways Azure Express route AWS direct connect load balancing etc.
• Knowledge of Basic Networking concepts (IP Addressing Subnet VLAN L2/L3 Network Switching & Routing Load Balancers OSI Stack Firewalls Routers BGP OSPF MPLS).
• Experience with software-defined networks (SDN) will be a plus.
• Understanding of TME (Telco Media & Entertainment) industry and its technology solutions.
• Possess understanding of the network & application monitoring multi-cloud management technologies and market including key competitive offerings.
• Ability to support training and consulting in pre-sales phase.
• Understanding of Telco 5G Enterprise Network Enterprise Edge SD-WAN CDN (Content delivery network).
• Solution Design Architecture knowledge of client network solutions including WAN LAN SDWAN Security Wireless Unified Communications etc
• Should have Superb organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex/new situations anticipate potential problems assess opportunities impacts and risks in the development and implementation of network solutions.
• Should have Great collaboration and Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Collaborate and maintain strong working relationships with IBM partners partner sellers stakeholder IBM software product experts/management & partner OEM vendors.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
