Job Description

We have an immediate need for a Solution Architect. This role has the following attributes:

• Hands-on Architect.
  • Participates in the day-to-day delivery of complex products, systems, and solutions across multiple clients, including involvement in presales activities, POCs, Inception (requirements), MVP Construction, and Continuous Delivery oversight.
  • Collaborates with practice leads & clients, able to take the lead on implementation and detailed design elements as needed.
  • Deeply knowledgeable regarding software development practices and processes and contributing to continuous delivery activities.
  • Steadfast in delivering high-quality, best-in-class solutions with a disciplined approach to development, testing, and QA.
  • Passionate about solving challenging business problems and creating excellent user experiences.
• A creative, motivated, independent, and integrity-driven leader. You’ll be:
  • Able to set the bar high in clear and productive communication with colleagues and clients.
  • Experienced in providing technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
  • Hands-on, i.e., writing code (more complex problems/algorithms) while mentoring/assisting developers in meeting deadlines.
  • A proven technical thought leader who provides subject matter expertise to client and colleague interactions.
• Ready to take on the following responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership over all aspects of customer solutions, including scope, roadmap, technical requirements, delivery, and SOW support.
  • Own the project solution architecture and development.
  • Create and publish thought leadership both internally and externally.
  • Conduct effective discovery sessions/presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Thoroughly assess the client’s needs and present an appropriate business and technology solution.
  • Oversee the delivery of consulting projects, provide proactive control of resources, consultants/employees, and mentoring of project team leadership.
  • Develop and present accurate proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Establish trusted partner relationships with clients and partner stakeholders through technical expertise and thought leadership.
  • Identify growth potential or renewal opportunities within current and future accounts.
  • Assist in the development of cloud (AWS or Azure) partnership, certifications and business development activities.

Qualifications

• Leadership skills are essential. 
• Track record of successful solution delivery as a project-based consultant.
• Proven experience solving business and technical problems creatively and efficiently. 
• Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design for cloud environments, specifically AWS and/or Azure. Candidates with cloud certification credentials preferred.
• Experience with UI frameworks, including Vue.js, React, and/or Angular. 
• Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures. 
• Risk identification and management skills. 
• Hands-on software development experience. 
• Superior business and technical communication skills. 
• Ability to consult management and engineering teams with technical advice regarding business analysis, project management, IT architecture, infrastructure, cloud development, and software architecture design. 
• Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred. 

Additional Information

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $160,000-$185,000*

Disclaimer: In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, effective January 1, 2021, a good faith hourly or base salary range must be posted for all positions where the work may be performed in the state of Colorado. Therefore, this good faith salary range will only apply where this described position will be performed in the state, and should not be considered the compensation range in other locations or for other positions.
