About the Role

As a Solution Architect specialising in our NX product, you are a senior role within the Professional Services team, here you work productively with Consultants, Architects, Project Managers, and other internal & external interfaces to ensure that the customer succeeds in their objectives.

You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of comprehensive NX technology solutions tailored to meet the outstanding challenges and requirements of the customer. Leveraging your expertise in NX, industry and new technologies, you will collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of innovative solutions that address our clients' needs.

Success is a simple solution that delivers value to the customer quickly enabling rapid adoption and room to expand with further capabilities.

Area of Responsibility

• Solution Design: Develop end-to-end NX solutions that align with the strategic goals and technical requirements of customer projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment to industry standards.
• Client Collaboration: Engage with clients to understand their business objectives and technical challenges, translating these into effective and balanced solutions.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring the integration of best practices and industry standards in the design and implementation of NX solutions.
• System Integration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate diverse systems, technologies, and data sources to build flawless and interoperable solutions.
• Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in our focus industries, actively contributing to the development of new and innovative solutions that improve our offerings.
• Documentation: Build detailed solution documentation, including architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides, to facilitate seamless implementation and support.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that maritime solutions meet or exceed performance, security, and reliability standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Highly skilled using Siemens NX software and how it fits into company process. Knowledge of Teamcenter is also preferable
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect delivering NX CAD solutions, a focus on the Aerospace and Defence industry would be preferable.
• Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Science or Engineering, Computer Studies or similar
• Either already UK Security Cleared or able to achieve UK security clearance
• Experienced leader of technical projects
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both interpersonal and explaining technical solutions to varying stakeholders
