Stoneridge Software is looking for a highly motivated, assertive, client centric project leader to join our team as a Solution Architect in our Data Insights group. This individual will be in a high-impact role, helping the Practice Director redefine and implement the future of Stoneridge Software’s Data solutions. The Solution Architect will use their passion for people, culture, and thoughtful communications to guide organizations through their BI, Reporting, and Analytics journey. The Solution Architect will design, develop, implement, and manage enterprise-wide solutions that will optimize information access for our clients. They will also be responsible for exhibiting best practices and governance and supporting sales and marketing go-to-market initiatives to tactically grow our Data practice.
A Day in the Life
- Responsible for the overall solution strategy, architecture, and development of BI/Analytics offerings for data insights projects.
- Support all phases of BI/Analytics for client projects (Discovery, Initiation, Creation, Deploy and transition to Operate as it ties to the Stoneridge proven processes).
- Customize the BI/Analytics offerings to meet individual client and project needs.
- Collaborate with Client and Stoneridge project delivery teams to organize the BI/Analytics work effort and drive to results.
- Collaborate with Stoneridge management to establish appropriate capability-building plans for the delivery team, to ensure successful delivery against BI projects.
- Drive strategic transformation initiatives, including proactively identifying and solving roadblocks in the process in order to get ahead of changes in our business.
- Help define and exhibit Stoneridge Software’s enterprise data management framework, data and tool standards, architectures, models, and governance processes.
- Provide best-practice recommendations on tools and ISVs for Data initiatives.
- Collaborate and build trust with leaders and Data Developers/Leads in our Technical Delivery teams.
- Contribute to the project alignment across all departments to ensure a holistic "One Stoneridge" approach to delivering services with the highest quality and speed to value.
- Participate in prospect discovery to learn customer needs and challenges.
- Participate in the development of customized prospect and client solution demonstrations.
- Present, demonstrate and articulate technical solutions in a concise, clear, and convincing way to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Assist with the preparation of Statements of Work with a focus on Scope and estimate as needed
- Conduct marketing focused webinars for clients and prospects as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science or related field or relative experience
- 5+ years of relative professional experience, including Data Architecture, specifically designing and implementing Data frameworks
- 5+ years' experience leading and motivating project team through various stages of growth and learning development, ideally in consulting
- Proven understanding of data principals, and extensive knowledge of data warehousing methodologies, data modeling and dealing with big data
- Experience in architecting, designing and implementing solutions in the Microsoft Azure stack using technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, SQL Server, Synapse Analytics, Analysis Services and Power BI
- Experience leading the proof of concept of new architecture solutions to establish the effectiveness of requirements and ability to deliver quickly in order for our clients to keep improving on the speed at which data can be converted to insight and influence business decisions
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP solutioning experience (F&O, AX)
- Working knowledge of industry-specific best practices
- Excellent communication, planning and organization skills – both within a team and as an individual
- Strong customer relationship skills
- Ability to be the trusted voice at the decision-making table
- Ability to establish priorities and work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English
Work Location: This position is available on a REMOTE basis in the United States or REMOTE in Canada (Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan).
Travel Required: Incumbent is expected to periodically meet with client teams across the United States and will be asked to attend industry events from time to time.

Compensation
- Our philosophy is to provide compensation that is Competitive, Equitable, and Driven by Performance. Various factors impact our pay ranges including market conditions and national salary data. To determine competitive salaries within this range we consider candidates skills, qualifications, and experience. These are national ranges, inclusive of bonus opportunities and could represent multiple role levels.
- US (USD): $160,000 - $195,000
- Canada (CAD): C$130,000 - C$170,000
