Solutions Architect (Flexible Location)

We are rapidly growing and are looking to add a customer-centric, technical professional to deliver world class customer experiences. This role reports to the VP of Professional Services.

As part of the Professional Services team, you will work directly with customers in concert with our Customer Success, Sales & Marketing, Engineering, and Product organizations to help customers install Stardog and solve complex business problems.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary technical resource for net-new and existing customers and solution partners, providing hands-on support and know-how, while moving the existing implementation engagement forward and mining for future opportunities
• Participate in prospect and customer meetings to provide technical expertise, scope requirements and developing pilots, proofs of concept (POC), or proofs of value (POV)
• Help build reusable artifacts including new/custom demos, visualizations, and other tooling. This may include data science notebooks, example queries, spark jobs, kubernetes configurations, and other customer specific rapid response demo creation and customization.
• Marshall resources across the Stardog organization (i.e., CS, Engineering, Product, Support, etc.) as needed to support customers needs
• Pitch in wherever help is needed!

Requirements

• Experienced in enterprise data architecture and modeling for enterprise-level clients, essentially aligning the customers key entities and relationships to their semantic representations
• Minimum 3 years of programming experience, ideally in Java or Python, or alternatively data science
• Experience working with data operations for enterprises, especially supporting RDF, ETL (Nifi), SQL (DB2, Oracle, etc.) and/or Databricks is strongly preferred
• Technically adept with cloud hosting environments within AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with machine learning is a plus
• Experience with Jupyter notebooks, Spark, and related implementations highly desirable
• Curiosity to understand our customers and their business problems
• Facilitation skills mixed with technical acumen and creativity to develop appropriate solutions
• Comfortable delivering product training to customers and solution partners (physical/virtual)Experience supporting hands-on POCs, evaluations, and implementations with clients
• A proactive, initiative-driven approach and the ability to work independently 
• An empathetic and positive attitude with a desire to help our customers and solution partners succeed
• Results-driven mentality, with a bias for speed and action
