Job Description
Smartly has an exciting opportunity for a Solutions Consultant to join our Implementation team! You will work directly with our customers across pre-sales and cloud-based software implementation phases to set customers up for successful onboarding, shortening the time-to-value.Â
In this role you will act as a digital marketing and Smartly.io solutions expert. Working closely with Sales, you will assess customer needs, identify and communicate optimal solutions, and team up with solution architects to manage and deliver implementation projects and optimize customer onboarding. This is an ideal role for individuals who can identify customer challenges and match them to Smartly.io solutions.Â
Successful candidates are self-motivated and willing to take on challenges and have experience collaborating with Sales, Product and Customer Success.Â
As a Solutions Consultant, you will...- Be a subject matter expert on Smartly's products and services and bring the vital domain knowledge to propose, communicate and implement the best solutions for potential and new customer needsÂ
- Be a key partner to Sales to identify and present value propositions and solutions proposals for the best Smartly.io use cases
- Deliver tailored solution demonstrations and present to key customer stakeholders and articulate how Smartly.io’s platform will enable their business success
- Identify potential risks and bottlenecks for implementation and onboarding, and actively seek solutions by collaborating with sales, customer success and product
- Assess the necessary implementations for customers and involve Solutions Architects when necessary to assess and deliver technical implementations
- Capture different user requirements and translate those into automated workflows, technical solution needs, and product feedback
- Plan, set expectations, and communicate timelines and necessary customer inputs for a successful implementation period
- Own the execution of the implementation plan, making sure the customer account is set up for successful onboarding period
- Collaborate with sales and customer success while managing and delivering multiple implementation projects simultaneously
- Foster continuous dialogue with product and marketing teams to stay informed about product roadmap
- Standardize our implementations and deliver scalable enablement for our sales and customer success teams to support a successful implementation process
- 5+ years proven experience in a solutions consultant, pre-sales/sales engineering, technical account management or implementation roles
- 3+ years in an enterprise oriented SaaS company/environment (digital advertising and/or ad-tech a plus)
- Solid understanding of advertising technology, especially social media
- High level understanding of technical integrationsÂ
- Creative technology and automation knowledge preferred
- Ability to match Smartly solutions and use cases to customer challenges
- Strong communication and presentation skills (content & delivery)
- The ability to negotiate and influence at all levels within SmartlyÂ
- User empathy and the ability to make complex things simple
- Ability to find ways automate and make workflows more efficientÂ
- Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, and eventsÂ

The base pay range for this position is as mentioned below per year, plus annual bonus. We take into consideration an individual’s background, expertise, and experience in determining final salary. In addition to annual salary, Smartly.io’s total rewards provide employees with stock options, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement savings benefits, parental leave, 5 weeks vacation, unlimited sick days, life insurance and disability benefits.
