Formstack is looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our growing team.

Who You Are:

As the primary technical resource for Formstack clients and prospects, you are an extremely motivated self-starter with lots of existing tech knowledge that you are eager to put to use! You have a background in Solution Engineering or Technical Consulting, have previous knowledge of front-end and back-end web development and are passionate about customer service and good client interaction. You are a great communicator, collaborative, detail-oriented. You are able to make decisions on your own, but know when to ask for help. You are a team player and can have demonstrated leadership skills

How You Will Succeed:

• Provide consultation to clients and prospects in order to understand and assess individual product need and provide product/technical solutions
• Prepare content and provide comprehensive technical demos to clients/prospects 
• Conduct follow-ups with prospects from demos when needed
• Become a product and environment expert and be able to answer in-depth and technical questions
• Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting problems with product implementation, provide solutions, and ensure the success of solution implementation
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and excellent attention to detail
• Show a willingness to show initiative and learn on-the-job 
• Be able to work independently but also work well within a team environment.
• Possess the ability to travel a few times per year for team meetups, to represent Formstack at conferences, etc.
• Have a detailed understanding of cloud infrastructure specifically for Microsoft, AWS, Salesforce, Google Cloud Platform
• Comfortable with providing training (internal and client facing), hosting webinars and speaking as an industry expert to large audiences. 
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Primarily work on deals where the exact requirements are not immediately known. Work with the customer to identify the biggest pain points and come up with feasible solutions to alleviate them
• Build talk tracks, scripts, POCs, demo environments for Sales team and SCs and SEs to use
• Explain and answer questions around our security documentation, network architecture data residency, etc. and work with the security and compliance team to ensure that commonly requested documentation is being made available
• Answer security questionnaires from existing documentation
• Assist Marketing and Product Marketing with customer facing content as well as provide feedback to Product teams to create a better user experience and a stickier product

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or Technical Consultant 
• Previous knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP (or any other back end web language), APIs, Database Management, Salesforce
• In-depth understanding of cloud infrastructure specifically for Microsoft, AWS, Salesforce, Google Cloud Platform
• Exceptional customer service skills and excellent attention to detail
• A problem solver and critical thinker

Bonus points:

• Comfortable with providing training (internal and client facing), hosting webinars and speaking as an industry expert to large audiences. 
• Admin / Dev certifications on Salesforce, AWS or MS-Azure
