Echocardiography Sonographer Position Summary

Performs vascular or cardiac ultrasound procedures at a level of competence not requiring supervision of technical detail.   Participates in a variety of patient care and technical activities related to the operations of the Cardiovascular Lab. 

Echocardiography Sonographer Position Requirements

• Ability to read and communicate in the English language. 
• Minimum of two years college education in the health sciences or paramedical training preferred.
• At least one year in the field of non-invasive cardiovascular testing or a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
• Current registry as a Vascular Sonographer or Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) preferred.
