Overview
We are looking for a motivated, highly skilled, and determined Sourcer to join our team. As a contract Sourcer at AIR COMPANY, you will collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to support our hiring efforts as we grow our organization. You will also serve as an advocate for our company by providing high-quality and welcoming interview experiences to each candidate. Our ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and tools with a good understanding of different sourcing channels available. They should be able to use these channels effectively to identify and engage with top technical talent, potential candidates, and build robust pipelines to support our rapid growth. Experienced in technical sourcing and should have the ability to effectively source for technical roles, such as chemical engineers, operators, and product managers. This role is based at 166 Mercer, New York.Â

The range for this role is $85,000-110,000. Exact compensation may vary based on the market, experience, skills and technical expertise
Job Requirements
- Manage the sourcing strategy for key technical talent at all levels.
- Support the Director, Talent Acquisition in streamlining the interview process from end-to-end to ensure that candidates are informed, engaged, and excited about Air Company
- Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews and follow-ups, address any delays, conflicts, and new information
- Participate in new requisition kick off calls and interview feedback / debrief syncs with the hiring teams
- Post and manage requisitions in our ATS (Greenhouse)Â
- Conduct initial phone screensÂ
- Prepare hiring paperwork, support offer letter and new hire paperwork creation and organization
- Utilize various sourcing channels to identify and engage with potential candidates, including LinkedIn, job boards, social media, and other platforms
- Screen and assess potential candidates to ensure they meet the necessary technical qualifications and align with our company culture
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop a deep understanding of their technical requirements
- Meet and greet candidates during in-person interviewsÂ
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future roles
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience by guiding candidates through the recruiting process and ensuring timely and effective communication
- Continuously learn about the latest trends and best practices in the recruiting industry to enhance the effectiveness of the sourcing process
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 years of experience in technical sourcing, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and tools, including social media, LinkedIn, job boards, and other platforms
- Experience in sourcing for technical roles, such as Chemical Engineers, data scientists, and product managers
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers
- Ability to contribute in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks
- Great verbal and written communication skill, interpersonal skills, and strong organizational skills (attention to details)
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to ensure a smooth and efficient recruiting process
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Energetic, outgoing and positive thinkerÂ
- Proficiency with Google Apps, Google Calendar and Drive
- Sourcing experience with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed etc for passive candidates
- Talent / Recruiting coordinator experience for a scaling start-up
