Sourcing & Manufacturing Solution Lead

Together, we're creating new product to connect people and build stronger communities - and we're just getting started.The RL Business Enablement Team (BET) is responsible for delivering scalable, end-to-end business solutions for the entire supply chain. We work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver new supply chain capabilities across the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept through mass production.We are looking for an experienced subject matter expert with deep functional understanding of Sourcing and Manufacturing business processes and systems, preferably in consumer electronics and/ or medical devices, and experience in delivering end-to-end solutions spanning people, processes, systems and data.The ideal candidate will have operational sourcing and manufacturing experience and a proven ability to implement new capabilities resulting in measurable improvements. The candidate must have business process and technical systems expertise of hardware and/ or medical device sourcing and manufacturing, including supplier management, assembly processes, factory systems, data collection, and logistics. The candidate must have excellent communications skills and an aptitude for close collaboration with business operations teams, product engineering and system engineering teams.

Sourcing & Manufacturing Solution Lead Responsibilities:

• Contribute to global sourcing and manufacturing strategies and capability roadmaps
• Conduct industry research, including through external networks, to identify opportunities for process and system optimization
• Support business partners in drafting business cases for new initiatives
• Work directly with the business to gather and document detailed business requirements and user stories
• Conduct solution option comparisons to align the business teams on the best path forward
• Develop detailed solution designs, including process, system, and data analytics solutions
• Demo solutions to the business, facilitate user acceptance testing, and support successful deployment of new capabilities
• Collaborate with training organizations to develop reference documentation and educational materials
• Document and maintain detailed architectural, business workflow, and system process maps
• Deliver end-to-end solutions that quantifiably make the business more efficient

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in sourcing and manufacturing operations
• 5+ years of experience implementing new skills resulting in measurable improvements
• Foundational knowledge of MRP systems, supplier management and BOM solutions
• Experience with product lifecycle management process
• Experience building internal and external customer partnerships
• Experience with Agile processes and JIRA
• Experience with critical thinking, problem-solving, planning, prioritization, project management, teamwork, and organization skills
• Time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in high-volume consumer electronics and/ or medical devices industry and scaling up global supply chains
• Experience with databases and SQL
• Experience with EDI and API solutions and protocols
• Prefer leadership experience including coaching, mentoring and executive communications
