Responsibilities
• Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation in the kitchen.
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies when necessary.
• Help train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Manage catering services as needed, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of meals.
• Monitor food quality during preparation and service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist with menu development and seasonal offerings based on availability of ingredients.
Skills
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
• Experience in restaurant management or kitchen management is preferred.
• Proficiency in culinary techniques and a passion for cooking within the food industry.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
• Familiarity with inventory management processes to maintain stock levels efficiently.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
