Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Bilingual Spanish a plus! The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong background in kitchen management, food preparation, and casual dining. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining exceptional standards of food safety and hygiene.
Duties
β’ Assist the Head Chef in menu ensuring that all dishes meet our quality standards.
β’ Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
β’ Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food handling, and shift management.
β’ Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
β’ Manage food production processes to ensure timely delivery of meals during service periods.
β’ Collaborate with the catering team for special events and banquets, ensuring that all culinary needs are met.
β’ Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
β’ Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership.
Qualifications
β’ Proven experience as a Sous Chef. .
β’ Experience with menu planning, food service management, and dietary department operations is highly desirable.
β’ Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
β’ Proficient in cooking techniques, food production methods, and kitchen management practices.
β’ Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food products.
β’ Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory control and management.

Pay: $58,259.53 - $70,119.00 per year
