Our work environment includes: • Growth opportunities • Regular social events • On-the-job training • Company perks • Flexible working hours • Lively atmosphere • Safe work environment Responsibilities: - Assist the head chef in overseeing the kitchen operations - Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring high quality and presentation - Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and food safety standards - Collaborate with the head chef to develop new menu items and specials - Maintain inventory of food supplies and place orders as needed - Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients - Monitor kitchen equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs - Adhere to sanitation and safety regulations in the kitchen Experience: - Previous experience as a sous chef or in a similar role - Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices - Strong leadership and communication skills Please note that bartending experience is not relevant to the position of Sous Chef.
