Looking for something different, but still want to create and cook great food? This position is located in the University District, and the schedule is 9am - 630pm, Tuesday- Saturday. Sunday/ Monday off. We work on the academic schedule, which runs September-Jun. Our chefs are off in the summers, but enjoy a high quality of life and lots of paid time off throughout the academic year. This is an immediate opening! Be nice to those around you. Show up every day with a passion for cooking and making people happy with food. Enjoy work-life balance and an awesome schedule, with ample time off. Be an adult, do your job well, and get treated like an adult. Pretty simple, right? Successful candidates will have: -Solid experience (4yrs) in classical and modern progressive cuisine, preferably under notable chefs or in notable establishments. -Protein / Fish Butchery Skills. -Menu development & experience sourcing local products from National and Local suppliers. -The desire to at first learn, then uphold and improve upon the cuisine and concept that makes us successful. -The desire to assist the Chef with the creative direction, cleanliness, and flow of the kitchen -Communication skills! Energize those around you with your attitude, lead with humility, be a part of the team. -The Ability to Pass a background check. -A Manager Level Food Safety Certification, or the willingness to obtain yours quickly. -This opportunity is not for everyone.
