Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and management, with experience in fine dining, catering, and menu planning. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences while leading a team of culinary professionals. Your expertise in food safety, inventory management, and kitchen operations will be essential to maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Responsibilities
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
• Develop and execute innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends.
• Manage inventory control, including ordering and maintaining stock levels.
• Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
• Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs.
• Monitor food preparation processes to ensure quality and presentation standards are met.
• Assist in banquet preparations and catering events as needed.
• Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and communication.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
• Strong culinary skills with experience in fine dining, catering, and restaurant management.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
• Experience in menu planning, food production, and kitchen management.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred; banquet experience is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
