In the key role of the Renewables Project Manager you'll feel confident knowing you have the ability to tap into all different types of professionals focused on helping our clients develop renewable energy projects across the USA. You will be supported to become a leader of the energy transition, and have the ability to work direct with clients to deliver their solar, BESS, or microgrid projects effectively. As a leader within our program, you will be on point to build strong relations with some of HDR's most important clients in the power industry. As a polished professional with impeccable listening skills ,and an ability to maintain laser focus, you'll get to know our Clients needs, goals, and objectives, and how to leverage our professionals across the organization to solve the challenges they're faced with.

This seller-doer role is primarily focused upon serving utilities and developers across Arizona, Nevada, California and New Mexico as their main point of contact for all renewable project needs. As such, you will be primarily focused on delivering excellent project results, networking internally to grow your industry knowledge, and networking externally to grow HDR's market presence across the southwest.

Primary Responsibilitie

• Project Management: Drive project success through excellent management of scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Internal Networking: Work across HDR's Power Generation and Renewable Practice groups to provide engineering and owner's engineering (OE) support and coordination
• Project Development: Work with marketing professionals to prepare proposals, including scope, schedule, and budget in line with our clients needs.
• Leadership: Manage multi-disciplinary teams including HDR employee owners and subcontractors.
• Consulting: Work closely with HDR National Renewable Energy leadership to develop client relationships and provide strategic thinking for our clients and programs.
• Deliverables: Ability to confidently develop and present deliverables to Clients, including contract documents for construction, and engineering deliverables from HDR's civil, electrical, and structural engineering and environmental staff.

Qualifications

Required Qualification

• A minimum of five years of experience in utility scale solar and/or battery storage
• A minimum of three years of project management experience
• Must have the ability to lead various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.
• Ability to support multiple complex and time sensitive projects effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering

Preferred Qualification

• Prior experience with utility scale Renewable Energy project permitting
• Knowledge of regional Interconnection Study Processes
• Experience in multiple renewable energy technologies (wind, solar, battery storage)
• Utility or developer client management experience
