Your Role
We are looking for a passionate, adaptable, and student-focused Special Education Teacher to join our team. This position is ideal for an educator who thrives in a small, nurturing setting and is committed to helping students build confidence, independence, and success.
As a Special Education Teacher at Kinship Academy, you will:
- Develop and customize instruction to fit student needs.
-Provide small-group and one-on-one instruction for students across elementary to high school.
-Utilize students' strengths to create engaging and effective learning strategies.
- Implement positive behavior interventions and maintain strong classroom management.
-Collaborate with a dedicated team to maximize student growth and development.
-Write and manage IEPs, track student progress, and communicate with families and staff. Integrate technology to enhance learning experiences.
- Create a joyful, structured, and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications
California Special Education Teaching Credential (Required)
2+ years of experience in special education (Preferred)
Knowledge of IEPs, behavior intervention, and classroom management
