About the Role:
Join a dynamic Sports Business Management Firm, collaborating directly with the Principal to drive portfolio growth, manage key operations and shape athlete success. We are seeking a proactive, meticulous candidate who is adept at juggling multiple roles and skilled in business development, client acquisition and strategic partnerships. Core responsibilities include business growth strategy, spearheading endorsement deals to align with client goals and managing key relationships. Adaptability and experience in the sports industry are essential.
Responsibilities:
Business Development
· Identify new revenue streams and leverage industry trends to shape strategic growth and uncover opportunities in content, partnerships and business development
· Collaborate on talent recruitment and forge partnerships to expand market presence
Marketing and Branding
· Develop personal brands and digital strategies to enhance athlete visibility
· Identify and manage endorsement opportunities for clients, including identifying prospects, leading negotiations and creating compelling pitch decks and presentations to showcase value to both clients and brands
Relationship Management & Event Coordination
· Support the Principal in fostering trust-based client relationships, cultivating strategic industry partnerships and ensuring consistent, top-tier care
· Facilitate seamless coordination for high-profile engagements, ensuring all event logistics and client deliverables are efficiently managed
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in the sports & entertainment industry with a degree in sports management, marketing or business (or a compelling reason for your passion and fit)
· Experience at a sports agency, league or college athletics department for NIL (Name, Image and Likeness) initiatives, paired with a deep understanding of athlete representation, client acquisition, sports marketing and business strategy
· Strong industry connectivity and established relationships within the sports and entertainment industry, preferably in the NFL, MLB and/or golf
· Proven ability to drive business development and lead client acquisition efforts, from prospecting to on-boarding and relationship management
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in marketing development and securing athlete endorsements, including NIL partnerships, backed by strong brand relationships
· Willingness to work nights/weekends and travel as needed for client service and events

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
