Leidos is seeking a qualified SQL Solution Architect to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team, who will support data system services and operations and digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies at Fort Meade, MD.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The DES program supports a highly demanding mission and requires support to provide expert technical and professional management support to DISA enterprise Information Technology (IT) services. You will be working in support of a large and complex IT consolidation, migration, and modernization effort towards a Single Service Provider model that provides sustainment, maintenance, Problem and Change management services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of the Department of Defense networks and services.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

• Must hold an active Secret security clearance. (US Citizenship required)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Architect on-prem subsystem for MySQL database security analysis and monitoring.
• Microsoft SQL Always On cluster experience
• Design IT solutions to meet customer requirements, solve problems, and achieve business goals.
• Architectural designs included compute, network, and storage solutions incorporating latest industry IT technologies
• IT Engineer Architect for industry research, design, documentation, procurement, and implementation including life cycle management.
• Engineering, architecture, design, and management work consisting of documenting the solution with Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Project.
• Linux server administration

Desired Experience:

• Azure Cloud Service Training
• Storage Administration/Engineering
• Strong oral, written, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• MS SQL 2000, 2005, 2008R2, 2016.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience; additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
