Sr. Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This role is ideal for a financial expert with a strong background in accounting operations, financial analysis, and compliance management. As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of financial processes while driving strategic insights that support organizational growth. Responsibilities: • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to maintain precise financial records. • Oversee accruals to ensure compliance and integrity in financial reporting. • Develop sophisticated forecasting models to support financial planning and strategy. • Prepare insightful financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and operational improvements. • Collaborate with senior leadership to create budgets and multi-year financial strategies. • Optimize and implement financial systems, including Restaurant365 (R365) and other tools such as Toast, Excel, and Power BI. • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and lead external audits and reporting initiatives. • Document and improve financial policies, workflows, and procedures to enhance efficiency. • Bachelor's degree in accounting and 10+ years of accounting experience, including expertise in month-end close, reconciliations, and accruals. • Proven ability to manage general ledger entries and journal entries with precision. • Strong skills in financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis. • Experience with multiple entities or locations required. • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. • Effective communication skills, capable of presenting financial information clearly to diverse audiences. • Strategic mindset with a focus on identifying opportunities and driving impactful changes. • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.FOR IMMEDIATE CONFIDENTIAL CONSIDERATION please apply to this posting.
