Basic Qualifications : Associate’s degree in related discipline or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for a controlled billet in accordance with DoD Instruction 5210.42 Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The Senior Advanced Engineering Technician will act as a leader and mentor to new technicians in the support of engineering activities such as designing, testing, checking-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment. Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary Range: USD $36.92 - USD $39.60 /Hr.
