Sr. Android Developer

• Location:100% onsite - Mandatory all 5 days at Irving, TX. • Looking for Sr. Android Developerswith 8+ years of experience. • Must have skills: Jetpack Compose, Dagger Hilt & Kotlin. • Interview: Coding challenge & Candidates will be expected to attend 2nd round of interview onsite in Irving, TX. This role is not open for subcontracting. Open to W2 /Individual C2C or 1099 candidates only. We are willing to transfer H1B's and take care of their immigration including GC sponsorships. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in Android App Development using Java, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose. 8+ years of experience integrating RESTful APIs. 8+ years of experience writing unit and instrumented tests using Robolectric, Mockito AndroidX. Proficient with Android SDK. 5+ years of experience in developing Espresso UI tests Expertise in developing Accessible mobile applications Experience with Kotlin for Android development. Expertise in MVVM Architectire. Expertise in Dependency injection, Annotations, Gradle. Experience with offline storage, threading, performance tuning and optimization. Experience with localization/internationalization of the applications. Experience with security protocols in the mobile applications eco system. Solid understanding of object oriented and functional programming. Good understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines. A team player with a start-up/intrapreneur mindset. Experience with CICD pipelines and deploying apps to Google Play store. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to work in an Agile /SCRUM environment. Familiarity with code versioning tools - Git (Gitlab). Competency in Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Agile tools that support tracking iterative development. Exposure to retail industry, experience with e-commerce applications.
