Sr. Data Analyst

Software Resources has an immediate job opportunity for a Sr. Data Analyst with a major corporation in New York City. 4 days per week on-site, Fridays remote. Duration: 6 month(s) Pay Rate:$60 - $65/hr Description: Direct-to-Consumer team oversees the streaming businesses within Entertainment helping to bring The Company's best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere. We are seeking a senior data analyst focused on reporting, automation, and tooling within the Entertainment portfolio. This role's primary responsibility is to support and build reporting automation for various business critical initiatives. This may include custom pipeline building and integration with our suite of data and tech tools, scripting python for automated reporting sends, quality testing, and visualization creation. Responsibilities: • Build end-to-end solutions for contained ongoing reporting automation • Respond to intake and document data requirements related to subscriber reporting automation (including complex dashboarding, automated email sends, continual deck creation) • Develop queries based on required business logic, sometimes legally obligating, to determine accurate outputs for each relevant business unit • Incorporate data quality testing into daily pipelines to ensure data integrity and accuracy of all automated reporting. • Create clean and understandable visualizations for broad business consumption • Develop strong knowledge of the technical infrastructure that underlies subscriber data • Contribute to the design of resilient reporting solutions that minimize data incidentsBasic Qualifications: • 5+ years of analytical experience • 3+ years work experience developing in SQL, especially in an ETL processing pipeline • 3+ years of scripting experience (python/R) • Experience automating manual Excel-based workflows • Familiarity with Google App Scripts, Snowflake (or similar Analytical Warehousing products), Github • Data visualization experience with Looker, Tableau • Demonstrated experience with conveying technical and/or analytical concepts to broad set of audiences • Strong communication skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills • Bachelors Degree in an analytical fieldPreferred Qualifications: • Advanced custom data visualization tool experience (D3, Streamlit) • Understanding of statistics concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis) • Advanced degree • Familiarity with Airflow • Experiencing building or prototyping tech from scratch Required Education: STEM Bachelors About Software Resources Software Resources, founded more than 3 decades ago, is a trusted staffing partner specializing in Technology (IT, Creative, & Marketing), Finance, & Accounting placements.
