Job Description

Primary Function of Position

The Sr Finance & Enterprise Services Learning Manager, reporting to the Sr Director of Finance Organization Development, is responsible for building, managing, and conducting trainings for the Finance organization. This person will partner closely with Finance leadership, the Finance Organization Development team, and various finance functions to create and execute a training strategy to improve the knowledge and skill of the Finance team.

Essential Job Duties

  • Contribute to the maintenance and facilitation of the various types of finance trainings including technical training and skill development, leadership training, and finance and accounting training
  • Design, build, and execute a development continuum to accelerate the skills of Analysts through Sr Directors enabling us to deliver on our goals and finance vision
  • Create agendas, presentations, and training materials for skill development and leadership training programs
  • Examine the needs of each course to assess the team’s strengths and gaps pertaining to knowledge and skills; Develop programs to address knowledge gaps.
  • Drive and facilitate Finance programs through various delivery methods (in-person, virtual, on demand)
  • Develop KPIs and measure effectiveness of programs (e.g., skill benchmarks, post course surveys) to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain a real-time dashboard to track course results such as NPS, course effectiveness, and impact on performance and engagement
  • Assist in the facilitation of the Finance and Enterprise Services Women in Leadership Program and programs for underrepresented populations

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least 7+ years of relevant learning development work experience
  • At least 2+ years of corporate training or training management experience
  • Proficiency with learning models and frameworks to develop effective trainings
  • Aptitude to organize and curate training content
  • Ability to give feedback and coach others
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to facilitate training programs
  • Exceptional relational and leadership skills
  • Ability to excel in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and able to operate autonomously while managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to build global trainings that are effective for native and non-native English speakers
  • This role requires working onsite in our Sunnyvale, CA office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% to assist with global training needs

Required Education and Training

  • Minimum B.S./B.A. degree required

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Finance technical skills (Excel, Tableau, SQL, Hyperion, and Anaplan)
  • Experience with Instructional design authoring tools
