Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (IIoT/OT/IT) to join our dedicated team. Work remotely and contribute to innovative projects that shape the future of advanced manufacturing. Join us in creating world-class Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions for the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable IIoT applications for manufacturing environments.
  • Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces for industrial monitoring and control systems.
  • Implement server-side logic and integrate seamlessly with various databases and APIs.
  • Collaborate with Rockwell Automation software to communicate with industrial control systems.
  • Apply PTC's Kepware for data collection and Thingworx for IIoT application development.
  • Develop and maintain SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control.
  • Collaborate exceptionally with multi-functional teams including hardware engineers and data scientists.
  • Enhance application performance and solve issues in production environments to ensure seamless execution.
  • Know the latest trends in IIoT and manufacturing, including emerging technologies and standard methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in full stack development.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue).
  • Strong back-end development skills (Node.js, Python, or Java).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC-UA).
  • Knowledge of Rockwell Automation software suite.
  • Experience with PTC's Kepware and Thingworx platforms.
  • Understanding of SCADA systems and industrial control processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the manufacturing or industrial automation sector.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and machine learning techniques
  • Experience with real-time data processing and visualization.
