Sr Fullstack Software Engineer

We’re looking to hire a Sr Fullstack Software Engineer for a well-known entertainment company. This is an 18-month contract role and is remote, based out of Santa Monica, California. In this role, you will join the Ad Platform Engineering team, responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining a high-performance, distributed, microservice-based Digital Advertising Platform. This platform powers the qualification, delivery, and tracking of digital advertising campaigns—including Video on Demand, Live TV, and innovative interactive ads. Sr Fullstack Software Engineer Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and test solutions for complex engineering problems in a high-throughput, low-latency microservices environment. • Enhance system observability by defining and implementing metrics, monitoring, and alerting solutions. • Translate product user stories into actionable technical tasks and deliver high-quality solutions. • Take ownership of one or more domain areas within the team. Sr Fullstack Software Engineer Qualifications: • 5+ years of software engineering experience. • Proficiency with Java and ORM frameworks. • Experience with ReactJS (or similar modern frontend frameworks) and the ability to quickly learn new technologies. • Strong background with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
