Sr. Machine Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery within our factory environment, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a solid understanding of machining processes, including stamping presses and assembly line operations. Responsibilities • Operate and monitor machinery, including stamping presses and other production equipment, to ensure optimal performance. • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime. • Set up machines according to specifications, including configuring logic controllers for production runs. • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow on the assembly line. • Utilize basic math skills to calculate measurements and material requirements for production tasks. • Package finished products according to company standards and specifications. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. • Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures. Qualifications • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically as a machine operator or similar role. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively. • Familiarity with stamping presses, assembly line processes, and factory operations. • Experience operating forklifts is a plus. • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. • Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
