The pay range is $89,700.00 - $161,500.00

A role in Global Inventory Management (GIM) means applying your specialized and well-informed point of view to what we buy, from whom, how much and where it needs to go from there. You'll use the right combination of data and expertise to achieve the best possible product availability through proper inventory positioning. You'll also focus on the efficient transportation of product around the world, while ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and achieving the best possible product availability through proper inventory positioning. You'll not only establish and develop great relationships with our vendors to encourage on-time shipment and delivery to stores and ultimately guests, but you'll also analyze transportation supplier capabilities and contracts for maximum speed, reliability and cost effectiveness.

As a Sr. Manager, within Inventory Management Operations - Network Synchronization you will be leveraging your experiences to develop and shape upstream inventory flow strategies, enable both current state and future state capability development, and ensure upstream inventory flows achieve Level 1 GSCL Inventory Health goals to ensure Guest Purchasability while improving Target's operational expense outcomes. You will continuously improve processes and analytical insights, develop site-level operational expertise and build cross-functional relationships and lead strategic efforts across Core Inventory Management, Sales & Operations Planning, Field Operations, Distribution, Planning, Stores and Product along with many others.

Job Requirements:
• Team Leadership

o Develop & re-enforce roles/responsibilities with partners across GSCL, Stores, GIM & Target India (TII).

• Strategic Planning
o Responsible for modernizing our Upstream Supply Chain (specifically UDCs, IWs, and 3PLs) systems and processes to support improved financial and operational outcomes.
o Shape Target's A&A Future Network strategy to ensure Target's operational capabilities enable sales growth outcomes.
o Develop strategies to ensure inter-node transfers are both modernized and multi-faceted to optimize inventory flows across enterprise.

• Operational Results & Problem Solving
o Lead the team to deliver Level 1 inventory health metrics and downstream purchasability goals for upstream nodes (UDCs, IWs, 3PLs).
o Guide effective problem solving to stabilize inventory flow during peak storage utilization for upstream nodes (UDCs, IWs, 3PLS).
o Develop strong partnerships with Core and Field Operations (GSCL, Stores) Teams to quickly address issues and develop short and long-term solutions to prevent future defects.
o Partner with product and OI teams to influence capabilities and reporting needed to best support planning and execution.

• Stakeholder Engagement
o Partner across Core, S&OP, Stores and GSCL teams to scale capabilities that will drive benefit to the total enterprise network.
o Closely partner with Target India inventory teams to drive expected outcomes.

About you:
• 4 year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience leading a team
• Experience with Inventory Management fundamentals and systems
• Project and process management/ownership experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead team through problem solving complex situations while successfully balancing competing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to interact with and influence at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to both source and analyze data to drive changes/improvements in an operational environment
• Experience leading projects grounded in developing strong routines that track progress against goals
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across a broad range of cross functional partners
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build impactful relationships across teams, leaders, and partners
