The Sr. Manager of Platform Engineering is a hands-on role with expertise in AWS and experience managing Infrastructure teams in a high growth environment. In this role you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of  a team of talented professionals, assisting them to deliver complex technology solutions across a range of teams. You should be comfortable directing, planning and coordinating the team, as well as developing new processes to bring order to the changing needs of the business. Reporting to the Director of DevOps, this role is integral to the successful growth of the team, technology organization, as well as the wider company performance.

Responsibilities: 

• Leading, coaching and performance managing a team of DevOps engineers.
• Oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of Cloud Infrastructure and CI/CD processes
• Collaborating and building strong cross functional partnerships.
• Designing the cloud platform production environment and application from a holistic view, ensuring it meets all the business requirements.
• Hands on experience in managing the cloud accounts and DevOps tools
• Take ownership of continuous improvement within the team, as we are continuously learning here at Socure

Qualifications: 

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience 
• 7+ years of related work experience, typically 3+ years management experience.
• Solid track record of leading high-performing teams
• Experience with Performance Management
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Proactive communication skills
• Expert-level knowledge and experience with GitLab
• Strong knowledge and experience with AWS infrastructure (EC2, EKS, S3/Cloudfront, CDK, etc)
• Strong knowledge and experience with Terraform.
• Strong scripting skills in python, bash, etc.
• Understanding of IP networking, PKI, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalling.

Salary Disclosure:

Base Salary range: $188,000 - $222,000

This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job related factors. Socure's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, equity,  comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
