Position Summary:
This position reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for leading the development of standard Supply Chain processes for Cell & Gene Therapy at Princeton. This includes the deployment of common systems, improved processes, and advanced technology to drive continuous improvement in planning, scheduling, and supply chain optimization. This position is also responsible to ensure that a clear linkage is achieved between the Project Management organization and operations to drive a consistent approach to customer service across the Princeton site.

The Role:
- Works with the Director of Operations/site GM to implement a standard S&OP process that maximizes customer satisfaction, while optimizing cost-effectiveness and lead an initiative to optimize the site's supply chain to reduce cycle time and minimize inventory levels based on client requirements.
- Develop and implement an appropriate Supply Chain strategy for Catalent that allows for Network optimization, and maximizes inventory, and working capital.
- Responsible for driving performance improvements in the key indicators for supply chain optimization, including MRP utilization and effectiveness, schedule adherence, ready-to-execute, reduced obsolescence, and reduced inventory on hand.
- Designs and uses metrics to improve processes and ensure optimal use of ERP system.
- Ensures compliance with all corporate and applicable regulatory SOP and cGMP guidelines.
- Manages processes to optimize quality performance and on-time delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Champions and fosters involvement by all levels of the organization in the implementation and maintenance of "Best Practice" processes, enhance teamwork, accountability and drive a sense of urgency throughout the entire enterprise.
- Builds and develops a committed team to manage all aspects of the area of responsibility as it applies to Supply Chain.
- Establishes through visual management and continually enhances self-sustaining processes that drive associate involvement and support decision-making at the lowest possible level.
- Drives projects that optimize warehouse utilization solutions, including the buildout of expanded warehouse space.
- All other duties as assigned.
The Candidate:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field, plus 8+ years of progressively increasing managerial experience in Supply Chain and Operations.
- Extensive knowledge of MRP/ERP systems is required.
- CPM and or APICS certification a plus.
- Must possess and demonstrate strong motivational and leadership qualities with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Possess excellent proactive problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to create a team-based environment.
- Must be self-motivated, disciplined, focused, well organized, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Must be dependable and show initiative to improve the overall throughput and financial goals of the organization.
- Must possess the ability to bridge relationships with a variety of individuals and between various Business Units, Departments, and levels of the organization.
