THE SENIOR ONESTREAM DEVELOPER POSITION

Sunnova is looking for a Sr OneStream Developer to join its dynamic team to design, develop, and implement solutions on the OneStream platform. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance and Technology teams to deliver high-quality financial applications and reports.

SENIOR ONESTREAM DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES

•Gather and document business and technical requirements.

•Lead the configuration and maintenance of the OneStream platform, including workflows, data sources, transformation rules, business rules, calculations, dashboards, data management sequences, and cube/master data.

•Connect solution to data sources and establish security protocols.

•Maintain and monitor systems to ensure seamless performance.

•Lead Unit Testing, System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements, patches, and upgrades.

•Collaborate with end-users to validate system functionality, identify, and resolve system issues.

•Developing and troubleshooting a variety of components that include security models, event processes, custom dashboards, reports, business rules, and member formulas, with a focus on enhancing system functionality and efficiency

•Collaborate with data engineers to design and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformation workflows.

•Manage security groups and access controls within BI systems.

•Regularly review and update security settings based on organizational changes.

•Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

•Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business users.

•Provide training and support to end-users regarding BI solutions and reporting.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Information Systems or related field.

•3+ years of relevant OneStream Development or Administrator experience.

•Familiar with C# or VB.NET, to handle technical requirements of the role.

•SQL experience with SQL Server or Oracle databases, to manage and manipulate data effectively.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to navigate through complex situations and provide effective solutions.

•Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence (EQ), with the ability to facilitate clear and effective communication with team members and executive stakeholders.

•Legally authorized to work in the US for ANY employer.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

•Experience with OneStream, Financial Reporting development, to bring valuable insights and expertise to the role.

•Strong technical/programming background with object-oriented languages: VB, C#, Python, etc.

•Comfortable with the full software development life cycle.

•Experience writing OneStream business rules.

•Experience with agile software development methodology and Jira / Confluence.

•A minimum of 4+ years of work experience in a technical field to demonstrate your practical knowledge and skills.

•Extended period of time working at a computer workstation
