As a Lead Product Manager for Bangalore Developer Platforms and Experiences, this position owns a diverse portfolio of critical services that drive our Developer Community across PayPal including Test Frameworks and Test Platforms, enabling developers to release high quality code to our Customers.

Developer Platforms and Experience (DPX) is the team that powers PayPal’s business. We deliver scalable, efficient and highly reliable infrastructure and services platforms in a hybrid cloud environment to our developer community. We are looking for product leaders who can transform our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) experience. As a Senior Product Manager in the CI/CD team, you will own a diverse portfolio of critical services that enable our developers to release high quality software to our Customers across all of our brands as quickly as possible.
Responsibilities: This is an internal facing role and that our “customers” are PayPal developers
Drive the overall vision, roadmap, product features and delivery within your portfolio using technical expertise and background in devops and modern cloud CI/CD platforms
Balance priorities to deliver on measurable outcomes to increase developer productivity and enable our developers to get PayPal features to our customers quickly and with high quality.
Ongoing communication and collaboration with senior leaders and customers
Define and track key performance indicators and outcomes to show progress and results.
Work cross-functionally with global Business Lines, Engineering, and Design, developing strong relationships that help build trust with key partner teams and our developers.
Evangelize product roadmap in informal and formal settings
Run lean experiments to inform future investment area.
Partner with other product managers, development managers and technical leads across the organization to align strategies, roadmaps, priorities, dependencies, and releases to mitigate risks and issues.
Actively network with key industry contacts to understand standard methodologies and emerging practices and how they can be used within the company
Product backlog responsibility to ensure the highest business value is being delivered
Frequent contact with developers across the globe to validate product functionality and additional needs.
Produce feature requirement artifacts, such as data flows, process flows, decision trees, state diagrams, and system context diagrams to support the delivery team
Cultivate a positive team environment where there is a sense of purpose, ideas are heard, and decisions are transparent
Qualifications:Â
Ability to present roadmaps, sophisticated ideas and features to broad teams in an effective manner.
Self-starter with the ability to take ownership, balance various tasks simultaneously while contributing to a positive work culture.
Extraordinary verbal communication and written documentation skills are critical for this role.
Experience working with Kubernetes and modern CI/CD platforms
Experience in building and delivering platforms that serve a wide variety of use cases at scale
Experience driving strategy for Platform products in a top tech or payments company.Â
Ability to decompose complex processes into understandable components
Proven experience working in an agile environment in a Product Owner/Manager role.
Proven experience in taking a product to market
Experience operating with a geographically dispersed workforce
Experience in building large scale CI/CD Platforms and a deep understanding of distributed systems.
Passion to seek an in-depth understanding of customer needs and turn that insight into a compelling vision and strategy for the product area
Strong execution and ability to drive work to completion.
BA/BS in CS required.
