Sr Production Manager

Job Description Summary

Performs the daily operations of the plant including overseeing the entire production process, planning, directing, and coordinating activities in production while ensuring safety at all times, delivering high quality products and operational efficiency on the production line.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure that all EHS standards are met to keep the facility accident free.
• Implement quality checks throughout the production process to ensure quality products.
• Develop and manage production schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Oversee production process from start to finished product
• Lead, develop and motivate production staff.
• Allocate labor resources efficiently.
• Set team performance goals.
• Use Lean manufacturing practices and track KPIs to evaluate production efficiency and identify areas of opportunity and improvement.
• Troubleshoot by identifying and resolving production issues including equipment malfunctions, quality defects and delays with the help of own team and support teams.
• Communicate with leadership team regarding problems or issues impacting production.
• Communicate with support departments showing strong teamwork and collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
