JOB DESCRIPTION Dodd Creative Group is currently seeking a professional multitasker to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years professional experience at a design firm, construction company or sign agency. He/she will be a great communicator who is detail-oriented, energetic, flexible, and passionate about organization.This is a full-time, in-office position at our office in Dallas, TX (This is not a remote position). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and follow every project through its lifecycle and know where every job is. Support the designers and account team as a primary vendor contact for signage projects. Work with the designers, account team and vendors to keep signage design projects on time and error-free. Work with vendors on establishing budgets and timelines. Tracking the process of getting signs through engineering, permitting, manufacturing and installation. Writing purchase orders, tracking costs and processing invoices. Keep the team’s digital and physical job folders well-organized. Proof-read documents and review layouts. Work with install team on scheduling logistics and planning installs. Organizing and planning crating and shipping of signs. Generate status reports and keep our project management system and status lists up-to date. Instrumental in increasing and stabilizing back half billing by developing a clear understanding or our billing cycle. Help train project managers on best practices. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 5-7 years experience working in the signage industry A fast learner who is highly organized, self-starting, and brilliant at multitasking. Helpful, up-for-anything attitude. Professional appearance and demeanor. Great verbal and written communication skills. Excellent proof-reading skills and understanding of grammar/spelling rules and major style guide standards. Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office and Google Apps (especially spreadsheet software); familiarity with common project management apps and services. Prompt, prepared, and dependable. Strong people skills and high emotional intelligence; a knack for anticipating and adapting to others’ needs. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Construction experience. Familiarity with major graphics industry file formats, terminology, and concepts. Experience working in real estate, architecture, and/or interior design. Familiarity working with Acrobat and Illustrator.
